Women on a quest to rid themselves of wrinkles and too afraid of the needle or the “plastic Botox” look / face, may have a new ally in Rodial’s Glamtox Sticks, little sachets of fruit-flavored powder.

The idea that science and, most importantly, the cosmetics industry, can fight wrinkles from within is not a new one, but Glamtox Sticks is probably the first product to equal itself to Botox.

A non-toxic, drinkable kind of Botox that brings impressive results, while also tasting quite good as well.

Glamtox Sticks are, as noted above, sachets of powder that is dissolved in water and drunk once a day – twice a day if we’re looking for faster results.

They contain peptides and extracts that boost collagen production, which means they offer the skin the necessary supplements to make itself young again: by 30 percent in just 12 weeks.

“Packed with natural collagen boosting extracts and peptides these delicious supplements treat the skin to a collagen injection from within, resulting in an amazing reduction of lines and wrinkles by 30% in only 12 weeks!” Rodial says.

“Rich in collagen peptipeptides (natural bioactive protein) that trigger the synthesis of new collagen fibers, and are clinically proven to improve the skin’s moisture level, smoothness and suppleness, hence preventing skin ageing,” the company further informs.

A box of Glamtox Sticks, also dubbed “Botox in a bottle,” contains 14 sticks (meaning 2 weeks of regular treatment and just 1 for the speedier results) and costs £48.00 ($60).

Celebrities who reportedly use Glamtox to stay youthful include posh Victoria Beckham and the always gorgeous fashionista Sienna Miller.

VIV Magazine tested Rodial’s hottest product (Glamtox is sold out in the US right now at the official Rodial page) and came up with the conclusion that it does its job but is no magic bullet in combating wrinkles.

“After only two weeks, we did notice our skin felt a little more hydrated and appeared more radiant, but we didn’t see much difference in our fine lines,” the mag writes.

“During the course of imbibing Glamtox, two strangers told us we were beautiful. (One was a man who said he’d been drinking quite a bit – so it’s unclear whether his compliment was based on what he had been drinking or the collagen we’d been swilling.)” the review further says.
