Alicia Douvall, while one of those celebrities whom people know only by associating a face to a name, has always managed to create waves with her kiss-and-tell stories. Known for her many plastic surgeries, she does not fail to do the same now too, with admitting that she lost count of how many interventions she has underwent, which have led to her losing feeling in several parts of her body and developing what is known as the Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

Speaking with The Independent, the British glamour model who rose to fame after selling to the media her short romances with celebrities like P. Diddy, Calum Best, Dwight Yorke and Dennis Rodman, is now saying she has spent more than £1 million on plastic surgery – and she has no plans to stop here either. Although she can no longer feel her left breast, anything under her right arm or her stomach, and despite the fact that doctors in the UK are now flatly refusing to work on her anymore, Alicia says that plastic surgery is her life, and she plans on doing whatever she can to get more work done.

The model herself is aware of the fact that her very expensive habit is “out of control” and that it has changed her life in ways she would probably have not desired, but that will not stop her from further indulging in it. Even if doctors in the UK are no longer willing to operate on her, Alicia is still having surgery by flying to the US and lying about her medical record, as she herself admits.

“I’m on a quest for change. Every two weeks I’ll go see another doctor. Often, I’ll walk in, not even knowing what I want doing and say something like ‘What do you think might be wrong?’ or ‘What do you think of my eyes?’ I keep hoping one day I’ll wake up feeling happy with myself.” Alicia tells The Independent, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “I’ve changed my eyes and nose, had facelifts. My philosophy is ‘if it can be changed it will be.’” the model further confesses.

Although she lost count of her many plastic surgeries, she estimates she has had over 15 just on her chest, up to the point where the British media jokes about her having had valves put in “so she can have saline solution pumped in, or out, to vary their size,” as The Guardian wrote a while back. However, experts believe that Alicia’s case is a clear one of Body Dysmorphic Disorder, a “condition marked by excessive pre-occupation with an imaginary or minor defect in a facial feature or localized part of the body,” therefore she should be seeking specialized help for it, and not continue with having surgery.
