Glamor Model Jodie Marsh Sans Boobs or Make-Up

- Marsh went make-up free for the Refuge charity campaign for victims of domestic violence

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

British glamor model Jodie Marsh can be seen as a slightly less orange version of Jordan – sorry, Katie Price. However, her face is still usually covered in layers of foundation, her boobs as just as ridiculously blown up
and over-the-top as Jordan's used to be before she had her millionth breast reduction surgery. However, Jodie - who is a colorful reality star and big-mouthed British socialite herself - managed to side-step Jordan and gain a modicum of credibility and respect from her fellow countrymen when she gave up her plastic looks and posed without her make-up as part of a Refuge charity campaign for victims of domestic violence.

And boy, do the thick layers of orange foundation and the heavy eyeliner make a difference. Without them, the plastic Barbie doll looks are gone, and instead a fresh-faced, slightly more mature woman shines through, smiling in a more reserved and charming manner. However, Marsh admits that she is not yet ready to hang her make-up kit and go for the demure looks. "I think there are people who need to put on more make-up and then they might pull more men. I love people who wear as much make-up as drag queens. Pamela Anderson always has well made up eyes," she states. And while some may argue that the "drag queen" looks define a glamor model's public perception and are therefore "part of the job", it's also undeniable that au naturel approach should not be too easily dismissed.

"People say 'look how orange she is' - I can't tell you how to use a sun bed and I don't use fake tan," March added in an interview with New magazine. However, the heavy make-up as attention-seeking device is a trick that always seems to work. Just close your eyes for a second and imagine, say, Victoria Beckham deprived of her own fake tan, concrete boobies and eyeliner. In the end, a celebrity's public perception is something that can be manipulated in just about the same way as her overall looks. Which means that if we came to see Jodie Marsh walk out of her home every day make-up free, we'd all grow to find that as natural as seeing her enhanced boobies in tight outfits these days. Well, maybe slightly less natural, but you get the point.
