14 DAY TRIAL // The standalone edition of the Glacier White PlayStation 4 included in the Destiny bundle might be coming out this month, according to some retailer listings.
The white version of the device was first commercially available at the start of September, bundled with Bungie's sci-fi first-person shooter Destiny, and many gamers were of the opinion that it looked better than the classic PS4.
Sony previously stated that the white variant of the computer entertainment system would be coming out as a standalone offer before the end of the year, but this is the first time the actual thing is spotted.
The first listing has been spotted on Amazon UK, showing the Glacier White PlayStation 4 slated for an October 17 release, with a price tag of £352 / €445 / $565, a tad higher than what the regular black model goes for.
UK online retailer ShopTo has also been spotted to offer the Glacier White PS4 console, listed for the same date, going for £350 / €442 / $562.
Sony has yet to confirm the release date and price for the standalone Glacier White PS4 home console. The console ships with a Glacier White DualShock 4 controller, and has a built-in 500 GB hard drive.
In case you want to get one for yourself but you would also like a sweet deal thrown in, you might want to wait until November, when the Far Cry 4 Glacier White PlayStation 4 becomes available in stores.
