It seems that, even though it is technically winter in some parts of the world, the business for coolers is going strong, or at least strong enough for GlacialTech to unveils no less than four of them intended for mobile personal computers.

Basically, Glacialtech's new M-flit series of notebook coolers, composed of the S1, M1, Z1 and L1 models, is almost ready to sell.

The Z1 is colored silver and measures 330 x 270 x 45 mm, while the S1, M1 and L1 are colored black/white and have different sizes altogether.

The S1 measures 270 x 202 x 28 mm, while the M1 measures 340 x 260 x 35 mm and the L1 410 x 330 x 50 mm.

Basically, this means that they can cool off laptops with screen diagonals of up to 17 inches.

They also operate on a DC current of 5V and are constructed out of either aluminum, plastic ABS or a combination of iron and plastic.

The M1 and L1 have an adjustable fan speed interface (maximum RPM of 1,200) and blue LEDs on the fans themselves, which measure 200mm in diameter (one each).

The other two have one (S1) or a pair (Z1) of 80mm fans and, while they lack fan controls, spin at up to 1,800 and 1,400 RPM, respectively.

It should also be noted that all four boast the patent-pending Air Flow Wing design and can prevent slipping thanks to their rubber domes.

As one would expect, the fans get the power needed to run from the laptop itself via the USB (universal serial bus) interface.

All in all, the four should provide the size, shape and color variety to suit the taste of a wide variety of end-users.

Unfortunately, though they should start shipping soon, the newcomers have not been given any sort of prices.
