N1 and H2 laptop stands officially launched, not priced yet

GlacialTech just made one of those announcements where it hands out all the info one could look for, except for that tiny detail known as pricing.

In other words, it is unknown how much money people will have to pay for the N1 and N2 laptop cooling stands.

That said, the two are part of the SnowPad line and are compatible with 17-inch and smaller mobile personal computers.

They possess ultra-silent 160mm fans (one each) and USB connectivity (for power). The N1 has 2 USB ports extender as well.

Said spinners have a rotary speed of 900 RPM (rotations per minute), +/- 200 RPM.

They both have a plastic construction and a silver color coating, allowing them to fit well into any environment (aesthetically). Thus, they are as much use at home as they are on the go.

The H2 is the one better suited for journeys, with a swivel base with angle adjustments and comes the ability to fold flat as well (it is easy to store in a bag).

Also, it is ergonomically designed with high-impact plastic and allows the 8-level adjustments for screen height to be easily seen.

Furthermore, the screen height and tilt confer upon owners a high level of comfort and optimal viewing.

As for the N1, it boasts anti-slip rubbers (doesn't let the notebook slide off) and efficiently dissipates heat through the full range metal mesh. It comes with multi-air inlet as well.

All in all, the SnowPad cooling platforms will protect people's laps from discomfort (heat-induced or otherwise) and will definitely not permit particularly feisty computers to inflict even the mildest of burns on the upper thigh.

That said, they will also prevent heat from accumulating like it would if the notebook's base were to be shut off from the outside and prevented from dissipating internal heat.
