GizMac, designer and manufacturer of innovative "Gizmos for Your Lifestyle", is now expanding its Aluminate and DuraSport lineup of cases for the 3G iPod nano. You have aluminum on the front and polycarbonate plastic on the back, with the screen and click-wheel being perfectly visible, yet protected. GizMac is making the Aluminate case for the 3G iPod nano available in February, for $30.

The cases are said to feature included lanyard and carabiner clips which 3G iPod nano owners can use to secure their Aluminate. The company claims that the cases will not clash with a user's fashion motif either.

The cases are soft, of course, as they are crafted from soft silicone rubber, but also include a plastic shield for protecting the screen. The silicone's job is to cover the click-wheel. The DuraSport also comes with a Velcro-fastened armband, in addition to the lanyard and carabiner, while this item too will become available in February for the same price.

In simpler terms, as GizMac itself describes it, Aluminate is a hybrid Nano case made of aluminum and polycarbonate. The front of the Aluminate is not only thin, but colorful while the polycarbonate back side is quite tough and durable also. The combination of these two elements along with the built-in screen and click wheel protectors provide superior protection for your 3G iPod nano.

GizMac is dedicated to providing solutions and support for the iPod & iPhone communities around the world. The company's Titan accessories lineup offers cases including: Titan Clear for iPhone, Titan Clear for iPod, Titan Gear and Titan Metal.

The company has mostly been close with Apple since releasing the first accessories for the iPod, and has even been showing products at MacWorld, in San Francisco, for three consecutive years now.
