He’s tall, he’s brooding, he’s pale and he’s gorgeous. Above everything, model Stephen Thompson is albino, comes from the now-defunct modeling agency Ugly – and has become the latest face of fashion label Givenchy.

Designer Riccardo Tisci has decided the model’s unique look goes perfectly with the tone of the latest collection, and has therefore contracted him to be a part of the campaign promoting it, the NY Daily News informs.

Tisci is no stranger to looking for beauty in the unlikeliest of places, having previously made an international model of his personal assistant, a transgender named Lea T.

Now, he’s chosen Stephen as the “face” of the latest Givenchy line.

“The latest face of Givenchy is albino. Tall, pale and handsome, the model Stephen Thompson has white hair and ice blue eyes,” the NY Daily News writes.

“Riccardo Tisci, designer for the French fashion house said that he’s often admired the look of albinos and that they’ve been in an inspiration for the tones that are recurrent in his designs, he told Women’s Wear Daily,” the same e-zine notes.

Of course, unlike the case with Lea T., Thompson is not a stranger to the fashion industry, having already been featured in other successful campaigns.

“Thompson, now a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world, was previously represented by the now defunct Ugly modeling agency, which represented unusual faces,” NY Daily News says.

“The double-exposed ads, which will accent the various shades of white in the models and the clothing, will appear in the U.S. in March,” notes the e-zine.

The ads are not out yet – however, one of them seems to have made its way online, and you can see it in the pic attached to this article. It shows Thompson and Daphne Groeneveld staring right into the camera.

She’s dressed in white and has had her hair and eyebrows bleached to match Stephen’s. He’s standing right behind her, is apparently shirtless and is pictured like a shadow or ghost of sorts, since his body doesn’t seem to have any consistency.
