Since many iPhone owners are either business men, or people that are on the go a lot, a hands-free solution was definitely in order. As such, Aliph has provided Apple Stores with its new Jawbone hands-free solution for iPhone owners, in light of the hands-free legislation passed in California. The device costs $129.99.

Most recently, Aliph has run a successful online campaign tied to the hands-free legislation passed in California, offering a $20 discount on the new Jawbone to people who have received a ticket. According to an official Aliph report, the highway patrol has ticketed more than 7,000 drivers statewide, since the cell phone law took effect. Legislation mandating hands-free solutions for people who want to use their wireless phones while driving is now in effect in five states, as well as the District of Columbia.

Aliph is a market leader in noise-eliminating Bluetooth headsets. Its Jawbone combines both form and function. The company rapidly made it available on a wide market, just in time to appeal to a broad and growing consumer audience, which, undoubtedly includes iPhone fans. According to the makers of the device, the new Jawbone is "designed to look and feel like an accessory along the lines of jewelry and eyewear". The expressive aesthetic confers a premium visual and ergonomic experience, thanks to the premium materials used to craft it (medical grade plastic with better cosmetic and health performance).

"We are thrilled that the industry and consumers alike have embraced the new Jawbone," said Founder and CEO Hosain Rahman. "We’re humbled by the incredible response and want to thank fans of the Jawbone for their continuing support."

The Jawbone is sold at the Apple Store and its US partner, AT&T. The device is also available at Best Buy Mobile, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, as well as on Jawbone's official website.
