Gisele Bundchen and husband Tom Brady's former bodyguards have been sentenced to five years in jail after the shooting that took place in Costa Rica in 2009. The two bodyguards were found guilty of attempted murder after shooting at photographers.

The couple was celebrating their second wedding ceremony in Puntarenas, Costa Rica in 2009 when the event occurred. The bodyguards demanded the cameras and memory cards from the photographers that were trying to take snatch some photos of the famous Brazilian model and NFL star.

When the photographers finally drove away, one of Gisele's bodyguards opened fire, shattering the rear window of the car. Luckily, no one was hurt, but the bodyguards were immediately accused for the act, and sentenced four years later.

The court of Puntarenas found Miguel Solis, Costa Rican, and Alexander Rivas, Colombian, two of the three bodyguards, guilty of attempted murder and sentenced them to five years of jail. The third bodyguard, Manuel Valverde, Costa Rican as well, was acquitted, according to Sky News.

Besides the five-year sentence that the two bodyguards got, they both have to pay $10,000 (€7,400) damages to each of the two photographers involved. The trial lasted almost four years because the court did not have enough evidence to prove the attempted murder.

Gorgeous supermodel Gisele, mom of 3-year-old Benjamin and 11-month-old Vivian, just returned from a tropical vacation with her family, this time with no bodyguards on trial. The supermodel's vacation photos were all over her Instagram account, for all her fans to see.

Gisele also amazed fans a few days ago while looking flawless with no make-up on, walking to a photo studio. Former Victoria's Secret Model admitted to keeping her skin healthy by avoiding makeup as much as she can.
