Despite spending most of their time in the public eye, there still are celebrities who can keep an amazingly low profile. Of course, that doesn’t mean that word on them doesn’t get out at all – just that, when it does, it’s usually accompanied by a huge question mark. The same goes for supermodel Gisele Bundchen and quarterback Tom Brady who reportedly got engaged on Christmas eve.

Spies tell paparazzi agency and gossip site TMZ that the handsome male celebrity, mostly famous for “his QB skills and running errands for Gisele,” popped the big question to the model on board a private jet, right before touching ground in Boston. There were flowers, champagne and a huge diamond ring there as well, the same sources tell TMZ, and everything worked just smoothly to get Gisele to say yes.

According to the same spies, Gisele’s parents were also present, both during the proposal and to celebrate their daughter’s answer right after it. Of course, this did nothing to calm down Tom, who was reportedly extremely nervous about asking Gisele to make the big step with him but, happily, things turned out just fine for everyone involved.

Tom and Gisele have been dating for a while now, a relationship that held the front page of most tabloids because of the way Brady started it, meaning, right when his former flame, Bridget Moynahan, announced she was pregnant with his child. As Bridget was left to deal with her pregnancy alone in California, Tom and Gisele made their new found love known to the world by parading it for all paparazzi to see in the most exotic of destinations.    

So far, reps for Tom and Gisele have refused to comment on the rumored engagement. “I’m sure when the time comes that Tom wants the world to know these kind of details, he’ll let everyone know,” Stacey James, a spokesperson for Patriots, told the Boston Globe.
