A Facebook message targeting Spanish speakers promises a video that features some girls sunbathing on the beach being involved in a situation that’s worth seeing.

Baring the title “Video: Chicas En La Playa Tomando Sol. Vean Lo Que Ocurre,” (Girls on the beach sunbathing. See what happens), the scam message actually uses a technique that makes it hard for URL filtering systems to block, reports Commtouch Café.

This is done by posting the same message on more than one page on the destination site.

Similar to all Likejacking schemes, once the play button is clicked, the advertisement is automatically shared on the victim’s profile to make sure more individuals fall for the scheme.

In the end, Facebook customers are taken to a site that will earn the crooks a sum of money for each visitor they redirect.

Facebook members are advised to beware of any suspicious videos that promise something out of the ordinary.
