Nothing beats a lesson in feminism with a good splash of violence on the side. The new trailer for “Girls Against Boys” from director Austin Chick aims to be just that.

Check it out above.

The film first premiered at SXSW and has been making the rounds on the festival circuit ever since. It is now gearing for limited US release, starting February 1.

“Girls Against Boys” stars Danielle Panabaker as a tormented college student whose luck in men is of the worst kind imaginable. When she reaches her breaking point, she turns to a friend and co-worker (Nicole LaLiberte), who offers her a very unexpected solution to her problem.

“Together, the two embark on a gruesome killing spree, terrorizing and brutally murdering not just their attackers, but any man who gets in their way,” a brief synopsis of the film says.

Though the trailer makes it look as if the entire project is paying lip service to feminism, there’s something about the image at the end, of one of the girls dressed up as a doll with a sword, that looks familiar to what Zack Snyder did in “Sucker Punch.”

And we all know how exploitative (though pretty cool as well) that film is.
