A Girl Scout troop selling cookies in front of a supermarket has been robbed in Phelan, California. The suspect made off with approximately $500 (€382), reports say.

The teenage culprit is pictured in CCTV footage posted above, wearing a blue beanie and a striped shirt. Police are enlisting the public's help in finding him.

According to NY Daily News, he targeted the girls' stand in front of a Stater Bros. location and made his move at around 6:50 p.m. by running off on his skateboard.

“My sister leaned down -- put the money down for a second. He quickly grabbed the money,” the seller at the cookie stand describes.

This is the third theft from a Girl Scout stand in two weeks. Two more thefts occurred in Tucson, Arizona last weekend, with tables in separate locations robbed.
