Nevertheless, both she and her mother are praying for the wellbeing of the animal

It was only yesterday when the news that an 8-year-old girl got bitten by a dolphin at Sea World caused quite a media stir.

Most of the people who wished to comment on this incident agreed that this was merely an accident, and that the marine mammal could not be held accountable for its actions.

Interestingly enough, Jillian Thomas (i.e. the little girl that was bitten by this dolphin) also agrees that it was not the dolphin's fault, but her own.

Thus, although her getting bitten “really, really hurt,” what Jillian feared the most was that the dolphin might get sick after also sinking its teeth into some carton.

“There was this little carton that you put the fish in and I fed them and then I pulled it and raised it up and when the dolphin saw it, it leaped at me and bit me and ate the carton.”

“I was afraid that the dolphin might get sick because of the paper carton,” the little girl told members of the press.

According to Jillian's mother, both she and her daughter spent two nights praying that nothing bad would happen to the dolphin.
