Former “Transformers” actress Megan Fox has just been “promoted” from Giorgio Armani underwear to beauty products. A new ad naming her the Face of Beauty has been unveiled, together with the announcement that she will be the face of the brand from now on.
That Fox is a stunner is no longer news, yet the announcement comes as somewhat of a shock since she’s been keeping a very low profile as of late, almost slipping off the radar altogether.
Still, given how successful the campaign she fronted for Armani underwear was, it’s not really that much of surprise that the fashion house wanted to extend its collaboration with her.
A first video from the brand new campaign has just been released and, as Styleist puts it, it’s meant to emphasize just how gorgeous and, at the same time, versatile Fox is.
The ad, also embedded at the end of the article, shows the actress as if waking up, wearing minimal, natural-looking makeup. A series of flashes show her trying out various looks – and they’re all pretty jaw-dropping.
“The 24-year-old actress is making her debut as the new face of Giorgio Armani Beauty, with a just-released video spot that combines a hypnotic beat with equally mesmerizing close-up shots of the bombshell,” Styleist writes.
“Transforming from dewy and neutral girl-next-door to full-on smoky eyed glamazon with hot red lips to match, Fox shows that she can pull off a variety of the brand’s makeup looks,” the e-zine further notes.
What all these looks have in common – aside from Fox, obviously – is that they’re all very feminine and glamorous.
“We hear that famed makeup artist Linda Cantello wielded the brush for the ad campaign, while Craig McDean photographed and Mikael Jansson directed,” Styleist further reports.
