We already know Gionee's next flagship smartphone, the Elife E8, is just around the corner. The smartphone has been recently spotted at TENAA, and most of its specs have already been leaked.

Today, the first press render of the Gionee Elife E8 have just popped up directly from China. The device looks pretty darn good and seems to feature a full metal body.

The more news about the Elife E8 continues to pour in, the closer we are to an official reveal. Sadly, there's no info on pricing and availability yet, but we do know for sure that Gionee will initially launch the smartphone in China.

Gionee has already released some of its most popular smartphones in India and other Asian countries. We're confident that Elife E8 will be available outside China soon after it gets released on the market.

Moving on to specs, the Elife E8's main selling point besides the gorgeous design is the 23-megapixel camera in the back, which is said to be capable of taking pictures interpolated to 100-megapixels.

But that's not the only high-end spec inside the Gionee Elife E8. The smartphone is also said to boast a stunning 4.6-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 639ppi (pixel per inch).

In addition, Gionee's flagship smartphone will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor, which is complemented by an IMG G6200 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

On top of that, the Elife E8 will pack 32GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

Last but not least, the upcoming handset will be powered by a 3,250 mAh battery and will feature a no less impressive 8-megapixel camera in the front.

According to the latest hearsay, the Elife E8 will ship with the new Amigo 3.0 UI, which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
