Shortly after Carrie Underwood demanded that Governor Bill Haslam oppose Tennessee's ag gag bill, actress Ginnifer Goodwin has also decided to take a stand against this piece of legislation.

Wishing that her fans show their support for both animals and the working agenda of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), Ginnifer Goodwin tweeted as follows:

“URGENT: Tell Gov. @BillHaslam to veto #TNaggag bill that is dangerous for animals.”

The actress also sent her fans the link for the petition started by the HSUS in order to stop this bill from being approved by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam.

“Tennessee's anti-whistleblower bill (HB1191/SB1248) is on Gov. Haslam's desk and must be stopped.”

“American consumers have a right to know when animal cruelty exists on farms, and this bill is intended to keep them in the dark,” the HSUS says.

Here's hoping that many will join the HSUS, Carrie Underwood, Ginnifer Goodwin and many others in their fight against Tennessee's ag gag bill.
