Outside of the full-size AMD Llano motherboard that was leaked just yesterday, Gigabyte is also preparing to launch a new FM1 micro-ATX board that will be known as the A75M-UD2H and that will target HTPC systems.

The motherboard is built on the same A75 Fusion controller hub (FCH) as its ATX brother and it packs a complete set of features, including two PCI Express x16 expansion slots.

However, only the slot nearer to the CPU socket will have 16 PCI-E lanes routed to it, while the second socket is limited to working in an x4 mode.

Between these two slots, that are colored in Gigabyte's now traditional light blue, users will find a PCI-E x1 slot as well as an older 32-bit expansion slot.

AMD's Hudson D3 chipset is located right underneath these and Gigabyte's engineers have connected to it five SATA 6Gbps ports and four USB 3.0 interfaces, two available in the back and two via an on-board header.

A sixth SATA 6Gbps port has been routed to the back of the board to offer eSATA connectivity, where it's joined by a PS/2 port, four USB 2.0 ports, a Firewire connector, a Gigabit Ethernet port and 7.1-channel audio with S/PDIF out.

The built-in AMD Llano graphics core can be used to drive one or more displays which can be connected to the Gigabyte board through the available D-Sub, DVI, HDMi or DisplayPort video outputs.

Other features include support for DDR3 memory running at frequencies up to 1866MHz, an Ultra Durable 3 design (which uses a 2oz copper PCB), Gigabyte's Dynamic Energy Saver technology, and sockets for both a LPT and a TPM module.

The Gigabyte A75M-UD2H motherboard is expected to be released in early to mid-June, but it's price hasn't been disclosed yet.

AMD will unveil the first Llano processors for mobile systems at the Computex fair, while desktop CPUs are scheduled to arrive later in June. (via GHZ)
