Gigabyte will soon expand its lineup of custom cooled WindForce 3X graphics cards with the introduction of two new solutions that feature a similar design and feature set, but use different PCB revisions.

The WindForce 3X design is reserved by Gigabyte for its highest performing graphics offerings and it uses a cooling assembly consisting of three heatpipes, a large aluminum heatsink and three PWM-controlled fans for removing the hot air generated by the card while running.

This arrangement enables the Taiwanese hardware maker to deliver increased overclocking potential, while also reducing the noise generated in operation and improving lifespan.

Outside of the WindForce 3X cooler, both of these GeForce GTX 570 graphics cards use Nvidia's reference clocks, which means that the GPU is running at 732MHz, while the 1280MB of GDDR5 are clocked at 950MHz (3800MHz data rate).

In addition, Gigabyte's creations also offer 3-way SLI support and are based on the so-called “Ultra Durable” design.

As far as the differences between the two revisions of the GV-N570UD-13I are concerned, these can only be spotted when taking a look at the power delivery system, or at the video output configuration, of the two cards.

The revision 1.0 model includes a 6-pin and an 8-pin PCIe power connector as well as dual-DVI and a mini-HDMI output, while rev 2.0 sports two 6-pin connectors and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs.

No information regarding the release date or the price of the two GTX 570 graphics cards was made public at this point in time. However, a Spanish online retailer has recently listed the 1.0 revision of the GV-N570UD-13I at €318.

Nvidia's GeForce GTX 570 is based on the company's GF110 GPU and it packs 480 stream processors, 60 texture units, 40 ROP units and a 320-bit wide memory bus. (via TCMagazine)
