It appears that the flow of new hardware releases is finally getting back to its normal, strong self, as new video cards, among other things, have begun to trickle out, like a certain new Gigabyte model.

February was plagued by a serious case of hardware news shortage, with just MWC 2011 managing to deliver some new tablets.

Now that CeBIT 2011 is about to start and the slow season is going away, IT players are again releasing new products.

The video card market seems to be getting special attention, as not only has the AMD dual-GPU Radeon HD 6990 been revealed, but MSI even showed off the HD 6950 Twin Frozr III.

Now, Gigabyte formally unveiled its newest member of the SOC (Super OverClock) family of video controllers.

The product in question is an iteration of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which users may know as the strongest mainstream 500 series card available.

Apparently, this is the second SOC 560 Ti so far released and is 50 MHz slower than the one delivered last month.

It has 384 CUDA cores, 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM and clock speeds of 950 MHz for the GPU, 1,900 MHz for the shaders and 4,580 MHz for the memory.

What's more, the VRAM works on an interface of 256 bits and connectivity with displays is assured by a mini HDMI and dual-DVI ports.

As for the cooler itself, it is known as WindForce 2X, has two heatpipes and two fans. Complemented by the board's Ultra Durable design, it should keep the card cool and stable.

Availability is expected for the middle of March, and while listings aren't available yet, the official website does have all available information for those that want a closer look at the piece of hardware. No word on pricing as of yet.
