It appears that Gigabyte is holding true to its status as purveyor of a whole lot of different PCs and components, in this case having created a new addition for the Sumo series of PC cases.

With all the new chipsets and processors coming out lately, Gigabyte has, naturally, been showing off new motherboards and even updating its PCs.

Still, this doesn't mean it has been losing sight of its other endeavors, like that of PC enclosures.

In fact, the company seems to have completed its newest Sumo series model, even though, technically, it has not been announced.

While the company did already add the official product page to its website, a formal announcement has yet to be made.

This, among other things, means that it is unclear when sales will start, or what price one will have to be willing to pay in exchange for it.

Nevertheless, until these details become available, prospective buyers can take a look at the product and decide whether or not they are interested.

Being a mid-tower case, the Sumo α (alpha) supports both micro ATX and ATX mainboards, enabling fairly powerful configurations, depending on what buyers choose to put on the inside.

Four exposed 5.25-inch optical disk drive (ODD) bays are present, for instance, complete with a tool-free mounting system which also applies to the internal HDD/SSD trays.

Additionally, the I/O panel, placed at the top, includes the obligatory audio ports and two USB 3.0 connectors.

Furthermore, there are blue LEDs built into the front panel, for aesthetic value, while two 120mm fans provide internal cooling (they are placed on the front and at the back).

All the above are packed inside a frame of 205 (W) x 522 (H) x 500 (D) mm, constructed out of 0.5 mm SECC steel and with a weight of 6.6kg.
