Gigabyte has recently extended its multimedia laptop portfolio, with the addition of the 17.3-inch multimedia laptop Q2756N v2 notebook, which is marketed as a premium device.

The lappy arrives with a 17.3-inch full HD 1080p display that should be capable of delivering crisp imagery. Q2756N takes advantage of Intel’s 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, in combination with a dual-storage system made up of 512GB mSATA SSD and a duo of large 1.5TB HDD.

Moreover, the simple-swap DVD-ROM / HDD bay welcomes a third storage, so you’ll be able to remain mobile, without having to cut down on storage. The device also has an HDMI port that can output HD video.

Gigabyte makes use of NVIDIA’s GPU architecture, embedding a GeForce GT 840M card that delivers a smooth visual experience. This is completed by the Sound Blaster Cinema.Technology, a system that should eliminate sound distortion and enhance volume levels.

Basically, the combination of these features is what makes the new Gigabyte Q2756N a multi-media laptop.

Furthermore, the laptop brings about a full-sized chiclet keyboard that, the company humorously says, is capable of delivering “decent typing feedback.” Only decent, Gigabyte? I hope the real life output doesn’t lean towards “unsatisfactory.”

Anyway, we're not given the pricing specifications and I can't even tell you when the device will became available for purchase. But I'll keep you updated on the matter.
