Like many tech players, Gigabyte was also present at the Computex 2014 trade show, so it took the opportunity to unveil a new tablet that goes by the name Padbook S11M.

The chosen branding might not sound like much, but the tablet arrives with a few of nifty feats. For example, Pocket-lint reports the device houses a built-in mouse on the sides of the tablet.

How does that work, you may ask. Well, your right hand controls the optical finger navigation, while the left is in charge of the mouse buttons.

Basically, you’ll be able to enjoy your tablet experience without having to interact with it by virtue of touch.

The slate is actually a 2-in-1 coming with a built-in kickstand, but there’s a magnetic keypad too. Moving on to the hardware part, the Gigabyte Padbook S11M arrives with an 11.6-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and draws life from an Intel Core i5 or Pentium processor fitted with 2/4/8GB of RAM.

Advancing further on, the tablet has a 5MP camera on the back and 1.3MP snapper in front and can arrive with either 64GB/128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

In the connectivity department, we find HDMI, VGA ports, microSD, SIM card slots, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

The Gigabyte S11M runs Windows 8.1 out of the box. At the moment, there’s no information related to pricing specifics and such.
