It combines the idea of an air presenter with that of a mouse

When conducting a presentation at a company board meeting, or controlling a presentation in an auditorium, or any other such situations, it doesn't really behoove the speaker to sit still in front of a projector or PC.

That is why air-presenters were invented, small gadgets that can advance a power point presentation by one slide or two, or otherwise move things along.

Their functionality is limited though, and sometimes a mouse is still needed, to switch from program to program if nothing else.

Wanting to remove the need of walking back to the laptop or tablet, Gigabyte created the Neon, part of the Aivia line of peripherals.

It is a combination between an air-presenter and a mouse, one with a 1,200 DPI tracking resolution and a small compartment where the USB micro-receiver can be placed.

A scroll wheel, three main buttons and three hotkeys (can be programmed to transition slides and or elements within them) make up the controls.

Price and availability are still under wraps.
