Mid-tower product isn't embellished but has everything gamers could expect

Whether because of the holiday season or not, Gigabyte decided to launch a new case, one that doesn't cut any corners, even though it doesn't go out of its way to be too sophisticated either.

The new case is a mid-tower carrying the name Luxo X10.

At first glance, it doesn't seem like much, with a common-looking, black exterior and a few bits of red here and there.

That would actually be an accurate assessment, even if it only applies to the design.

The interior of the chassis has everything that a gaming enclosure needs, that being hardware slots and fans to keep things ventilated.

Luxo X10 measures 180 x 430 x 440 mm, which is to say 7.08 x 16.92 x 17.32 inches.

This lets it hold both micro ATX and ATX motherboards, and also enabled the integration of more than enough drive bays.

In addition to four 5.25-inch bays, the case features the same number of internal 3.5-inch bays. There is even tool-less installation for such drives.

The number of expansion slots is not surprising, at seven (at the back), but one less than ordinary asset is the possibility to install a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD at the bottom, right next to the power supply.

The PSU even has a dust filter, so that its fan may not get stuffed with those unfortunate formations over time.

As for fans, the back of the case holds one with a diameter of 120 mm, while the top has two such fans of its own.

An optional fan can be installed on the front as well and two more can be set on the side panel.

Finally, for input and output, there is the obligatory I/O panel on front (up near the top), with two USB 3.0 connectors and audio jacks.

Unfortunately, the price of the Gigabyte Luxo X10 was not disclosed, though online stores should have it soon enough.
