It is otherwise identical to the reference graphics adapter

Since AMD was kind enough to finally release the Radeon HD 7790 video board, its many partners have brought out their own models too.

Gigabyte is one of those that did more than just put a different sticker on the board and/or box.

The company actually used a different cooler, even though it left the specifications otherwise unchanged.

We are talking about the Triangle Cool fan-heatsink, which uses a copper-embedded aluminum heatsink and a 100mm fan.

Combined with the UltraDurable VGA PCB, it makes for a much sturdier and stable video controller.

There is an OC model as well, with 1 GPU speed of 1,075 MHz and memory at 6,400 MHz.

The prices of the GV-R779OC-1GI and GV-R779OC-1GI OC are of $149.99 / 149.99 Euro and $159/99 / 159/99 Euro, respectively.
