Recently we have seen more than our fair share of Intel P67 motherboards but H67 boards previews have been somewhat more elusive sine all manufacturers try to generally showcase their top of the line offerings, but not anymore as Gigabyte's H67MA-UD2H has just come out of hiding in its full micro-ATX glory.

As it's the case with most LGA 1155 motherboard previews this too is brought by Xfastest, the same Chinese website that brought to us the Asus Maximus IV Extreme picture preview last week.

But moving to the H67MA-UD2H as one can most certainly see from the retail packages, Gigabyte's motherboard was build in order to cater to more average consumers, the Intel H67 chipset coming with the necessary interface that allows the use on Intel's HD processor integrated graphics.

As a result the board comes with a VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs a DisplayPort connector being also included alongside USB 3.0 and a eSATA ports.

Taking a good look at the board layout we don't see anything out of the ordinary, Gigabyte going with a 10+2 phases power delivery circuit for the CPU, this being cooled by two low profile radiators.

Such a low profile cooling solution is also used for the ICH, this being placed between the two PCI x16 slots.

Although Gigabyte claims CrossFireX compatibility for the H67MA-UD2H the second slot comes with only PCIe x4 bandwidth, severely impairing performance WHEN such a setup is used.

Furthermore, the layout isn't one of the best that I have seen, this being an eerie resemblance with Gigabyte's older H55 motherboards that prevented the use of four memory modules when larger coolers were installed, a longer graphics card also preventing the removal of the memory.

No informations regarding pricing are available at this moment, but the board is expected to be released during CES 2011 together with other Sandy Bridge motherboards.
