Gigabyte really did not hold back when it issued the latest press release, the one that lists its CES-bound mobile computers, including the P2532F and Booktop M2432 notebooks.

We already talked about the convertible T1006 Netbook and the S1081 windows tablet.

Now, two more powerful mobile personal computers are taking their turn at basking in the limelight.

The Booktop M2432 measures 14 inches in diagonal and features an Intel Core i5 central processing unit.

It has an NVIDIA GT 440 GPU (1 GB VRAM GDDR5), in addition to the integrated Intel GMA HD 3000 graphics, plus THX TruStudio Pro audio technology and two speakers.

Six USB port, HDMI, D-Sub and a DVI output can be found as well.

Furthermore, the announcement noted the ability of this thin and light notebook to turn into “a powerful desktop with a unique docking station.”

The other notebook that Gigabyte has prepared is the P2532F, a 15.6-inch Full HD model (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) with clearly superior specifications.

The 2nd generation Intel Core i7 2670QM processor is just one of its top tier components.

In keeping with its status as high-end gaming and multimedia notebook, the system has an NVIDIA GeForce GT55M discrete graphics solution as well.

2 GB of VRAM give the GPU all the resources it needs to easily handle any game or multimedia playback software thrown at it.

The amount of random access memory (RAM) is no small matter either (8 GB DDR3), nor is the 750 GB HDD (7,200 RPM).

As for cooling, the IT player chose a dual air vent design: one vent on the CPU and another on the GPU.

Finally, there are two USB 3.0 connectors on the side of the notebook, along with an HDMI output, LAN, audio in/out, dual-channel stereo speakers, a woofer speaker (THX TruStudio Pro technology), etc.

People visiting Gigabyte's booth at CES 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada, may get to look directly at the two newcomers (January 10-13).
