Gigabyte has taken a break from launching wireless mice and, instead, has built the next best thing, a peripheral that never lets its cord hang all over the place.

The new product to leave the company's labs is called AIRE M1 Retractable Optical Mouse.

As its name implies, it has a cord that can be pulled completely inside the mouse itself.

Gigabyte even made sure the cable was durable, going so far as to offer a 2-year warranty on it.

Moving on, the item connects to a PC via USB and, thus, does not need any battery to run, unlike its wireless peers.

Finally, thanks to its miniature size, it is just the sort of companion notebooks need wherever owners may take them. Buyers will also be glad to learn of the rubber grip on both sides.

The price of the critter is 10.49 Euro, or $13.64.
