Keroro is based on the main character of a Japanese manga cartoon

Gigabyte has just unveiled the new Gigabyte Keroro phone especially designed for the kids.

Keroro is based on the popular comedy, with the same name, published in Japan and is gaining more and more popularity in Asia. The story features a frog-like alien invader named Keroro. GIGABYTE brings forth a perfect blend of this fun character and enjoyable content, all in this wild green slider phone. Keroro features the exclusive green color of Keroro and unique Keroro patterns.

The screen is 2.0 inch, 262k color TFT LCD. In addition, seven-color LED lights and Keroro style slid rail are all designed for Keroro fans. It also features a built in 1.3 Megapixel camera (1152 x 864 resolution) and 12 styles of Keroro invader picture frame, miniSD card slot for memory expansion, MP3 player, and MPEG4 / 3GP playback.

The handset contains many useful applications like Smart Alarm, English Tutor, Yellow Page, Data Security, lunar and solar calendar, power saving modes, Schedule Reminder, Data backup, Dual country time display, and Calorie calculator. Keroro phone is also full of exclusive content, including 45 Keroro wallpapers, 6 Keroro MP3 player skins, the exclusive Keroro POI, health station, 12 Keroro picture frame. Keroro is a limited edition phone thus only 2000 of it being manufactured.
