Google Maps, especially with Street View is great for exploring the world. What's more, since there are entire countries covered, there are places that you're never going to visit in real life and which you probably wouldn't want to.

This makes it possible to follow a tour of some giant Santa statues, scattered all over the world, mostly in the US though since they love everything that's big, that can be found in Google Street View.

Google Sightseeing put together the list and even a KML file so you can follow along in Google Earth.

The world's biggest Santa statue is in North Pole, Alaska, and that's part of the tour but there are plenty of others.

While on the subject, don't forget to follow Santa in Google Earth as he makes his annual journey around the world.
