Early screenings of “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” have led to disastrous reviews saying it has a worse plot and character definition than the original film. One thing the new trailer can promise: excellent special FX and 3D.
A new
official trailer for the sequel to Nic Cage's “Ghost Rider” has been released, showing more of the story and definitely more of the insane action scenes we're to expect.
Granted, the film will definitely be packed with clichés (Rider even gets to steal a move from the villain from “The Mask,” and spit out bullets others shoot at him – but his are on fire), and it will most certainly be bad in terms of plot and dialog.
But that's not to say it won't still make for mindless,
extremely fun entertainment.
If “Spirit of Vengeance” turns out to be at least half as fun as “
Drive Angry 3D,” then we're set for February for a good dose of 3D thrills.
