As the release date for “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” is drawing near, we're being treated to a new trailer for it, meant to convince us to check it out in theaters when it's out. See it above in full.

The sequel to the critically panned “Ghost Rider,” which came out years ago (in 2007, to be more exact), may be just another paycheck for Nicolas Cage but it's definitely getting fans' hopes up.

The film will be out in 3D and that alone is enough enticement for many to see it.

“Johnny still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds),” reads a short synopsis of the film.

“At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of his curse forever,” the synopsis says.

“Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” will be out on February 17, 2012. Check out the new trailer to see if it's something you're willing to pay the premium ticket price for.
