The Wii U version of the Ghost Recon Online multiplayer title is at the moment on hold, according to Ubisoft, as the team is focusing on the PC launch, trying to make sure that players get the best experience possible with the game.

An official message from the Twitter account states, “The WiiU version of the game is currently on hold while we focus on developing the PC version.”

Ghost Recon Online was first announced in 2011 and was supposed to be one of the first shooters to be available on the Wii U.

In 2012, publisher Ubisoft failed to offer more information on the development process for the Nintendo platform.

The company says that its big titles set to arrive on the Wii U include: Rayman Legends, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Splinter Cell Blacklist.
