Ghost Recon Online, Ubisoft’s free-to-play shooter, can finally be played by anyone in the world, as it has just entered open beta stage.

Ghost Recon Online is Ubisoft’s attempt at gaining an upper hand on the free-to-play market on the PC platform and has been in a closed beta stage for quite some time.

Now, the French company has confirmed that the online game has just entered its open beta stage, meaning anyone with a uPlay account can download the multiplayer-only experience and give it a whirl.

In case you forgot, Ghost Recon Online has three main classes, Assault, Recon, and Specialist, and features various game modes inspired from previous Ghost Recon titles.

In order to fuel competitiveness, Ubisoft has also introduced a weekly mission scheme that challenges players to achieve certain goals. The first objective is called Fireteam Alpha and requires players to form a Fireteam and win 5 matches. Those who achieve this get a bonus of 250 RP, the in-game currency.

If you want to try out Ghost Recon Online, all you need to do is visit this website, create a Uplay account if you don’t have one, and download it for free.
