Ubisoft has revealed a brand new downloadable add-on for its recently launched Ghost Recon: Future Soldier shooter, in the form of the Raven Strike DLC.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier came out back in May for PS3 and Xbox 360, and in June for PC. It delivered an intense tactical shooter experience and delivered some great multiplayer action through a variety of modes.

After releasing one expansion, in the form of the Arctic Strike DLC, Ubisoft has now confirmed another add-on that would be released in September, called Raven Strike.

The new DLC includes both single- and multiplayer content, reminiscent of the classic Ghost Recon experience, according to Ubisoft.

“A throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay, Raven Strike features larger maps, complex missions and an increased level of difficulty. It contains three campaign missions and a new Guerilla Mode map, each playable with up to four players,” the company said.

Raven Strike DLC content includes:

3 new missions in Campaign Mode - Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade) - Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside - Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow

1 new map in Guerrilla Mode

- Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside Ghost Recon: Future Soldier owners will be able to buy the Raven Strike DLC on September 11, for the Xbox 360, and on September 12, for the PS3. It costs 1200 MS Points/$15/€15.

Ubisoft also confirmed that its Ghost Recon team is working on another add-on for Future Soldier that would be released later this year, which might once again bring new single- and multiplayer content to the already-impressive third-person shooter.
