Ghost Squared, creators of Ghost Commander file manager for Android devices, have just released a new update for their application. The new update brings several new features and provides support for additional plugins.

According to the official changelog, in the latest version of Ghost Commander, the “Rescan Media” option on Android 4.4 KitKat devices uses a different technique.

The search is now visible by default and support for Dropbox and Google Drive plugins has been included as well. There’s also a new USE_CREDENTIALS permission, which is now required for the application in order to let the Google Drive work properly.

You can now download Ghost Commander for Android 1.51.4 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
