Not that there weren't enough titles added to the already well known Half Life, butValve decided to throw in 2 more: Half-Life 2: Black Box and Half-Life 2: Orange Box .

For those who have a keen eye when it comes to FPSs like Half Life, the 2 slightly different versions are fully packed with the finest of expansions and games to try out. Next-gen consoles are sure to bring out the best of the two having already won the gamers' full attention from the beginning. It is considered to be one of the best single player shooters. It is satisfactory on many levels, such as intelligent dialogs and mind twisting action that aren't by far innovations, just well combined.

They do however tend to be unsatisfactory in a few other aspects. One is the price for Valve's 2 newest: Black Box, which is said to be $39.99 and Orange Box 59.99. Oh, and another one: lack of feature - no Deathmatch for consoles.

What each title contains and the platforms they are available on are listed below:

Half-Life 2: Black Box-available on PC platform, priced at $39.99 contains Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

Half-Life 2: Orange Box-suitable for PS3 and Xbox 360 contains: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

So, The Black Box edition is for PC gamers who already have Half-Life 2 and its first Episode, while The Orange Box is available for everyone else to try out.
