The handset is less than 13.1mm thin, comes with a stainless steel frame that is both appealing as looks and adds strength, and was designed to represent an evolution of the modern monoblock design.

The talk time is estimated at 3.5 hours, while the phone will last for around 14 days on standby.

The phone was initially unveiled at the Annual Capital Market Place and has also recently been approved by the Federal Communications Commission. If you're living in India and would like to get yourself a Nokia 6300, now would be the perfect time to do so, because to get the sales rolling, Nokia has launched a limited edition of the phone, with the first 2,500 consumers across the country getting their names etched on the phone, along with a selection of stylized fonts and designs.
