The sexy Christina Aguilera will do more at this year's MTV Video Music Awards than just feature among the nominees. She has joined the performers that are to entertain the public at the New York's Radio City Music Hall on August 31st.

The talented singer, also known as The Voice, is not willing to say which track she will perform, but judging by the way she can put on a show, it is sure that it will be something unforgettable, no matter what she will sing.

Other artists to appear live on stage and sing are The All-American Rejects, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Panic! At The Disco, T.I., The Killers, Ludacris with Pharrell and the Raconteurs.

But many more celebrities will be included on the show, as special appearances from Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Jessica Simpson, Jared Leto, Rihanna, Busta Rhymes, Nick Lachey and Missy Elliott, are to be expected. They are to present the awards to winners, while comedian Jack Black will host the ceremony.

Aguilera has already been nominated for 'Video of the Year', 'Best Female Video', 'Best Pop Video' and 'Best Choreography in a Video', with the single 'Ain't No Other Man', taken from her latest album, 'Back to Basics'.
