Getac Releases Rugged V100 and V200 Convertible Tablets

They can be configured with Core i5 or Core i7 Intel CPUs

The Intel Core i5-3320M (MAX 3.3) or 2.9 GHz Core i7-3520M CPUs may not be Haswell chips, but they are still quite powerful.

In fact, they are the main reason why the Getac V100 and V200 rugged convertible tablets are 251% and 177% faster than the previous-generation models.

At least, this is what Getac claims in its latest product announcement.

The HD 4000 integrated graphics also provide better responsiveness over previous models.

The specs are otherwise common as far as convertible tablets go, save for the presence of 4G LTE broadband and the QuadraClear sunlight-readable screen technology. There are also multi-touch pressure-sensitive screens, which allow users to work without taking off their gloves.

Both the Getac V100 and the Getac V200 are up for order.
