Mozilla has been hard at work with the release of new flavors of their Firefox for Android mobile browser, and they have just shared some info on what users should expect next from the application.

What the next Firefox release for Android should bring along includes faster load times and operations, all available courtesy of a new interface.

Mozilla plans on moving towards a native front-end using Android Java for the next releases of the mobile browser, which sports the internal codename of Fennec 10.

The first Fennec 10 builds are already available for download for those who would like to give them a try, but they are volatile, and many features might not work at all in them.

The latest flavor of Firefox for Android is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link.

Those who will download and install it should know that most or all add-ons will break, and that sync in not supported at this time either. Moreover, the company notes that users should provide feedback on their experience, so that more issues could be solved.

To download and install the new Android Java UI builds, users will have to enable ‘Unknown sources’ in Settings | Application Settings on their devices, and will need to download the Fennec 10.0a1 file from the link above.

Only a few days ago, Mozilla also released a new version of the Firefox 8 beta browser, with a few enhancements compared to the previous version.

The beta release offers various enhancements for developers as well, providing them with the ability to add application/bookmark shortcuts to Launcher screens, Master Password, Web Haptic Feedback, Paste & Go Context Menus, and with Web App Support.

The latest beta release of Firefox for Android is available for download via the aforementioned link as well. The beta flavor of the app should move to the official channel in the next several weeks, when Firefox 10 should arrive in the Aurora channel, so stay tuned for more on this.
