Large London department store Harrods has just revealed a very special Xbox One next-gen console from Microsoft that's plated in 24K gold and costs a whopping 6,000 GBP (around 9,785 USD or 7,111 EUR).

The Xbox One came out on November 22 and impressed quite a lot of gamers in the 13 countries in which it was officially put on sale.

While stocks of the console have run dry at many retailers, large UK store Harrods still has one unit for sale.

There's a catch, however, as instead of costing the regular 499 USD/EUR or 429 GBP, it costs a whopping 6,000 GBP (around 9,785 USD or 7,111 EUR).

Besides being capable of gaming, the special console is apparently plated in 24K gold, which does offer a fresh change over the traditional glossy black finish of the regular console.

No word yet if a buyer has been found for this custom Xbox One, but Reddit user SirSyhn, who snapped the photo, did say that a lot of people were admiring the next-gen device.
