Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will speak at the VMUG Kansas City User Conference on December 11 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

The author of Apple’s first personal computers (heck, the world’s), Steve Wozniak will open the Kansas City User Group Conference with an interactive discussion with the Kansas City VMUG volunteer leaders.

A Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist, the Woz will share his experience working with Apple and Fusion-io with all attendees.

Victor Bohnert, executive director of VMUG, says his organization is ecstatic to have Wozniak speak at the Kansas City user group conference.

“Our members strive every day to solve problems and create new opportunities through technology,” he says. “Steve Wozniak epitomizes the contribution that the computer programmer can make by building something that changed the face of the industry and even the world.”

The Kansas City VMUG User Conference is scheduled to begin December 11 and take place from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Registration is complimentary. Interested parties can visit this address to sign up.
