Apple’s official Store application for iOS customers now includes an option to receive “notifications that let you know exactly when you’re eligible for upgrade pricing on a new iPhone.”
It’s rare that you ever hear Apple confirming a new version of the iPhone, so consider this one big news.
“And since all you need to complete the order is your Apple ID and password, buying your new iPhone is fast and easy (US only),” it adds.
Delivery notifications are also added in Apple Store 2.6. Apple promises to let you know when your order ships, as well as to keep you informed of any updates and the exact delivery time.
