Get Your Intel PROSet/ Wireless Driver Version 14.3.0.6

Good news for the owners of Intel motherboards, as we are delivering you the latest wireless driver for a large number of wireless chipsets.

The new PROSet wireless driver reaches now version 14.3.0.6. The Wake on Wireless LAN is no longer present in this version and the Novell Client support has been removed, as well. Nortle VPN Client technology is supported but requires you to create an user profile  with "Maintain connection on log off" or an administrator profile with "Pre-logon Connect" and "Persistent Connection" enabled.

In case the Microsoft Data Execution Protection is set to "AlwaysOn" in the boot.ini file, this will disable major functions of the PROSet drivers, so you should change this setting. As for Profile Migration, the Intel connection utility will only migrate profiles created in version 11.0 and above.

Finally, logon credentials will still be requested after installation of the PROSet connection utility, when users try to access the profiles where "Use Windows logon credentials" has been selected. You should log out and then back in, or reboot the system, and this should fix everything. As a final note, Intel My WiFi technology is only available under Windows 7.
