For those complaining that other than Microsoft, and now HTC with its One M8 for Windows, there aren’t too many Windows Phone handsets that stand out, here is something that you will definitely like.

Italian OEM NGM (New Generation Mobile) and renown motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson have teamed up to offer Windows Phone fans and mobile phone users alike more alternatives when it comes to choosing a smartphone powered by Microsoft’s operating system.

GSMDome reports that the folks over at Tinhte.vn have spotted two new Windows Phone handsets at this year’s IFA trade fair, which will certainly raise a few eyebrows.

Although the new devices that have yet to go on sale haven’t been named in said article, the Harley Davidson branding is obvious on both sides of one of the smartphones.

According to the official specs sheet, the Harley Davidson smartphone manufactured and launched by NGM will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box.

Moreover, the smartphone will be released in Europe initially, but depending on sales, it might arrive in other regions as well. Potential customers considering the purchase of the Harley Davidson smartphone will be pleased to know that the handset costs only €250 ($325) outright.

The Harley Davidson smartphone is a mid-range Windows Phone handset

NGM’s Harley Davidson is not one of the usual affordable Windows Phone handsets launched by an OEM. Instead, the smartphone offers quite decent features.

First of all, the smartphone is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, which is probably clocked at 1.2GHz. On the back, the phone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while on the front there’s a secondary camera for video calls and selfies.

It also sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. On the inside, the Harley Davidson-branded smartphone is armed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

There’s no word on microSD card slot, but we suspect the device offers users the option to further expand storage up to 32GB. That’s about everything we know about NGM’s mid-range Windows Phone smartphone, but this may be enough for a potential customer who wants to buy the Harley Davidson handset.

Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether or not the smartphone is already available for purchase. For the time being, the device is not featured on NGM’s official website, so it remains to be seen how long it will take for the Harley Davidson smartphone to go on sale.

What do you think about NGM’s Harley Davidson smartphone? Would you buy one if given the chance?
