Late last year, Marvelous Entertainment announced its upcoming title, codenamed Project O - an interesting Wii game that looked like a Settlers II spin-off (more or less). No news or other details have appeared since
then and we were starting to believe that the game no longer found itself in Marvelous' plans. But we were wrong: the company has just released a press statement, detailing the game and confirming the fact that it is doing well and that it will be released during this winter.

Project O now has an official name: Little King's Story and, just like the name suggests, it is about a little boy who suddenly becomes king. Named Corobo, the shy youngster explores the forest near his village one day and finds a mysterious, powerful crown - one that grants him the ability to charm any person and make everybody follow his orders. Now a little king, the boy begins a quest to turn his small hamlet into a noble, fantastic kingdom. Of course, everything with your help and the Nintendo Wii motion sensitive controllers.

"Little King's Story is a game we felt very strongly about offering to the United States," remarked Jun Iwasaki, President of XSEED Games. "The game truly reflects the high quality gaming experience, uniqueness, and game design creativity that we look for, with the ability to appeal to a wide audience while providing enough depth for seasoned gamers."

As I've said in the beginning, the game looks like a Settlers title. But the developers say that it will also have life simulation, real time strategy and bits of adventure, which makes it an even more interesting title to follow. The only thing we're a little confused about is the war part of the game. Is a youngster really allowed to do that?
