The GTA series continues. The rumors on GTA 4 surfaced for the first time a few months ago when a French site posted an image taken from the alleged GTA 4, but Rockstar North denied that the image would be real.
This time, the last issue of PSM has some information from Rockstar North about GTA4. The game will have a graphics engine specifically designed for Play Station 3 and it will use all technologies on that console, from The Cell to Blu-Ray.
As for the city, it seems that it will be divided in several smaller areas, but it will have more details from the graphics point of view. The designers' goal is to make a town where everything, from backgrounds to characters, looks as real as possible.
The appearance of a GTA game for PS3 would be a huge success for Sony, but since the console will hit the shelves in 2006, we can only assume that GTA4 won't be released before that date.
As for the PC version, I think we will be able to enjoy it somewhere in 2007.
